See what it does

Your hand
is the mouse.

Point to move. Pinch to click. Speak to type.

No headset. No gloves. Nothing to charge. Just the camera on your Mac, your hand and your voice.

Right where you work.

The wheel opens around your pointer, in the same glass as the rest of macOS.

Mon 9:41
Leviter’s shortcut wheel: twelve shortcuts around the pointer, with Play / Pause lit and filling as the fist rests on it.
The shortcut wheel, drawn by Leviter’s own code at its real size on screen.

Twenty seconds with Leviter.

Point, pinch, the shortcut wheel and your voice, one after another.

An animation made from a real recorded hand. The uncut demo is on its way.

Four moves.

Each one has a single job, so nothing happens by surprise.

  1. Point.

Raise your hand and the pointer follows, within a reach you set once.

  2. Pinch.

Thumb to finger clicks. Hold the pinch and move to drag.

  3. Make a fist.

Twelve shortcuts open around the pointer. Rest on one, open your hand, and it runs.

  4. Speak.

Say “open Notes” or “click Sign In.” In a text box, just talk and it types.

Video and speech
stay on this Mac.

Seen, then gone.

Camera frames are processed in memory and discarded. No picture or video is ever saved.

Heard on your Mac.

Speech is recognized on-device, used for that one command and never saved.

Off until you say so.

Hand control starts off. Switch it from the menu bar or press ⌃⌥⌘H.

How Leviter handles your data

Ready in three steps.

  1. Pick a camera.

Your Mac’s built-in camera, or an iPhone with Continuity Camera.

  2. Allow it, once.

Leviter explains Camera, Accessibility and Microphone before it asks for each.

  3. Set your reach.

Show it the corners you can reach comfortably. That space becomes your whole screen.

For Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 26 or later.

Questions.

Can I download Leviter now?

Not yet. The signed and notarized Mac release is still being prepared, and we won’t link an unfinished installer. See the Download page.

Yes. Download it at the top of this page. It needs a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later.

Which Macs and cameras work?

Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 26 or later. Leviter uses the Mac’s built-in camera or an iPhone through Continuity Camera. Intel Macs haven’t been tested.

Does it record me?

No video or audio is ever saved. If you choose to record a session for troubleshooting, it keeps only your hand’s joint positions, on your Mac. Read the privacy details.

What about lighting, or a hand tremor?

The camera needs a clear view of your hand, and calibration sets a range that suits you. Leviter hasn’t been clinically tested for any condition, and results depend on your setup.

How much battery does it use?

Hand tracking and speech recognition do use power. We’ll publish battery and heat measurements from the release build before launch.

Is Leviter free?

Yes. Leviter is free to download and use, with no account and no ads.

How do I stop or remove it?

Turn hand control off from the menu bar at any time, and remove Camera, Microphone or Accessibility access in System Settings. Uninstall steps are here.
